Hello — I'm grateful you're here. Finding the right therapist is important, and I'm glad you're getting to know who I am. Therapy and choosing a therapist can feel like a big decision, and I want to provide you with enough information to help you determine whether we might be a good fit.
A fun fact that might surprise you — research has shown that the therapeutic relationship is one of the most significant factors in the outcome of therapy. With that in mind, I believe that building a genuine, trusting connection is the foundation of effective therapy.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and a Licensed Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LAADC) through CCAPP, with a focus in dual diagnosis. I began my career in 2014, and since then, I've had the privilege of working in a variety of clinical settings, including mental health crisis stabilization, detoxification, residential treatment, outpatient programs, and school-based services. Throughout my journey, I've been fortunate to work with diverse populations, ranging from teens struggling with substance use to active-duty military, veterans, and first responders with PTSD.
While I am passionate about supporting individuals within the recovery community, I've also had the opportunity to develop expertise beyond substance use. I take an integrative approach to therapy that blends progressive, science-backed modalities with practical techniques. I'm always eager to continue my own learning and growth, and I bring that same curiosity to the work I do with clients.
Additionally, I offer clinical supervision, program consultation, group therapy dynamics training, and development of enrichment programs for clinicians. I believe that continuous professional development is essential, both for therapists and for those we serve.
If you're seeking a therapist who offers a compassionate, collaborative approach with a wealth of experience across a variety of clinical settings, I'd love to connect with you.
